Message from our CEO

We opened Tensho on May 2022 in Los Angeles, taking on the legacy from Kagaya, a long-time local favorite shabu-shabu restaurant in Little Tokyo.
After meeting the people in Los Angeles, I fell in love with what Kagaya was offering to the community.
At the same time, I realized that many of the Japanese restaurants are operated by non-Japanese owners, and felt that there is an golden opportunity for us to deliver a uniquely authentic Japanese dining experience.

We aspire to deliver a uniquely authentic Japanese dining experience with our pool of talented Japanese culnary professionals.
To achieve our vision and mission, we will boldly execute merger & acquisition of restaurant businesses in the US.

We also consider our experience in executing digital marketing strategies as one of our key strength in spreading the richeness of Japanese food culture to the local community.
We strieve to fill the stomach and heart of our local community through Japanese cuisines, as well as creating employment opportunities.

About our CEO

Ryuichiro Ise is a renowned entrepreneur from Japan. He published two books, selling nearly 60,000 copies in total.
His podcast was selected as the best podcast channel in 2015.
Ryuichiro has traveled to 42 countries and researched business environments in each country, supporting philanthropic causes as well as startup businesses.
He currently has more than 100,000 subscribers to his newsletter.

Sustainability

Carbon neutrality is a global priority. We are entering an era sustainable economic growth and human evolution, a pivot from the era of mass production and mass consumption which has lead the way since industrial revolution.
We have been hosting seminars to introduce case studies circular economy and sustainable growth from around the wrold to Japan.
